- Macmillan Skydive
If you are a fan of extreme sports and can imagine yourself jumping out of a plane for a good cause, why not sign up to do a skydive for Macmillan? With locations all over the country, including several in the South East, such as Cambridge, Brighton, London, and Brackley, you can push your body and mind to the limit while simultaneously helping people living with cancer.

- Garmin New Forest Marathon
Garmin New Forest Marathon takes place on the 8th of September 2024 and provides the perfect opportunity to get fit and raise money for a good cause, such as Southampton Hospitals Charity.
This popular event starts and finishes from New Park Showground, Brockenhurst, and winds through the heart of New Forest National Park. For spectators, there will be live music and the chance to donate on the day.
- New Forest Hampshire County Show
The New Forest Hampshire County Show runs from the 30th of July to the 1st of August 2024 and provides fun for all the family. To raise funds for the New Forest Agricultural Show Society and other local and national charitable organisations, this three-day event offers 30 acres of the showground to explore.
Over the course of the event, there will be a wide selection of food and drinks available for purchase, including a Garden Tearoom, more than 40 stands, and a local produce market so you can support good causes and fill your belly.
- Wessex Cancer Charity Run
Wessex Cancer Charity Run Race takes place at the David Lloyd gym in Ringwood on the 15th of April 2024. With two races to choose from including the 5K run for beginners and the 10K course for more experienced runners, there will be prizes for both male and female categories, including a £100 Wiggle voucher. If you want to get involved in this event but you are not the best runner, there is still space for more sponsors, so, if you own a business, why not help this way instead?
Wessex Cancer Support also has another charity event taking place later in the year, the Rainbow Run. Taking place on the 10th of July, you can run, walk, or dance your way through this 3km family fun run. Now in its fourth year, you can expect to enjoy a fun-filled course of giant inflatables, colour stations, and bubbles.
