The inn's historical main house was originally built in 1919 by Dr. Fordyce as his office and family residence. In 1989 the building was renovated to become Sunnyside Inn and has been regularly updated to welcome guests in the thirty years since. The Lola Room upstairs includes the original bathroom of the house, all completely functional.
Weekend vacationers, business travelers, groups and families enjoy the inn for its size, location and welcoming atmosphere. A full country breakfast is served family style in the dining rooms each morning. Kitchenettes, additional beds, long term stays and pet-friendly rooms are available.
