What to expect
Expect to be in and out of water repeatedly as you negotiate the gorge's natural obstacles—rock steps, narrow channels, shallow pools. Your guides will brief you on each section and show you the safest line through. You'll need reasonable fitness and comfort in water; the pace is steady rather than rushed, with pauses to regroup.
