What to expect
Your driver will be waiting with a nameplate at City Airport arrivals when you land. They'll help load your luggage and brief you on the route to your hotel. The vehicle is air-conditioned and stocked with water. If you're booking a pickup from your hotel, the driver arrives early so you won't feel rushed. The journey itself is straightforward: sit back, use the WiFi if you need it, and you'll be dropped at your hotel entrance. Traffic on the way into central London can vary, so build in extra time during peak hours (7–9am, 5–7pm weekdays).
