What to expect
Your driver collects you from your Edinburgh base and heads north towards Stirling, a town steeped in medieval Scottish history. The eight-hour window allows genuine exploration rather than rushed stops—you'll see the town's architecture, walk key viewpoints, and hear first-hand accounts from someone who knows the region intimately. If a particular street, vista or detail catches your eye, your itinerary shifts to accommodate it. This isn't a ticketed-attraction blitz; it's a travelling conversation with someone local.
Good to know
Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument are ticketed separately and not included; budget accordingly if you wish to enter either. Prams and infant seats are available. The vehicle suits all fitness levels, though some exploration involves walking around town on foot.
