What to expect
You'll spend the morning or afternoon on the river, starting with kit checks and a safety briefing from your guide. Expect to paddle through sections that test your edge control and bracing but remain manageable for intermediate paddlers. Your guide will point out lines, suggest corrections mid-paddle, and identify the best features for your skill level. Paddling happens in groups, so you'll progress together with rest stops built in. The session finishes with kit return and a chance to debrief.
Good to know
You'll need moderate fitness and some prior kayak experience—this isn't a beginner course. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, are pregnant, or have cardiovascular concerns. Wetsuits and boots are available on request; bring a towel and change of clothes.
