What to expect
An unpaved forest track with little gradient change. Underfoot conditions vary: firm gravel or compacted earth in dry weather, potentially muddy patches after rain. The track is open access land where free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys may be encountered. Waymarking is minimal; the route is short and direct.

No facilities or charges. Wear sturdy walking shoes or boots, especially in wet conditions. Dogs are allowed but should be kept under control near livestock and away from areas with ground-nesting birds (March to July). The track may be muddy or waterlogged after heavy rain.
