What to expect
A straightforward gravel track in good condition underfoot. The route is flat to gently undulating with no steep sections. You may encounter free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys, so keep dogs close and under control. The track is well-defined and easy to follow. After heavy rain, expect muddy patches despite the gravel surface.

Dogs are welcome on open access but keep them under control near livestock and ground-nesting birds (March to July). Wear sturdy footwear or shoes with grip for muddy conditions.
