What to expect
A short, level track underfoot with minimal gradient. The surface is generally firm and well-maintained. Waymarking is straightforward given the brief distance. You may encounter free-roaming ponies, cattle or donkeys grazing nearby. The crossing is open to the sky with views of the waterside setting.

Dogs are allowed under open access rules but keep them under control near livestock and away from ground-nesting birds (March to July). Wear sturdy footwear, though the short distance and easy terrain suit casual walking shoes. There is no charge for access to this open Forest track.
