What to expect
A straightforward gravel track, level underfoot with no climbing. The surface is well-maintained, suitable for pushchairs and standard cycling. You'll likely encounter ponies, cattle or donkeys grazing nearby on the open access heathland and lawns typical of the New Forest. Waymarking should be clear over such a short distance.
Good to know

- Open to cyclists
Keep dogs under control around livestock and ground-nesting birds (March–July). The gravel can be muddy after heavy rain. This track is free open access; no permit or charge applies.
