What to expect
A straightforward, level walk on compacted ground with no significant gradient. The short distance and clear surface mean minimal navigation required. You may encounter grazing livestock (ponies, cattle or donkeys) on open access land, so keep dogs close. Light, casual footwear will suffice for dry conditions.

No facilities or charge. In spring and early summer (March–July), be aware of ground-nesting birds; keep to the path and control dogs. After rain, the compacted surface may hold puddles but remains generally passable. Ideal for young children, older visitors or those with limited mobility.
