A short, easy footpath near Hythe covering just 1 km and taking around 15 minutes. Weston Greenway offers a quick walk across the New Forest's open access land, ideal for a brief stroll or as part of a longer day out. Dogs are welcome on this open access route.

What to expect
Flat to gently rolling terrain across open access heathland and grassy areas. The path is well-trodden and easy to follow. Expect to encounter free-roaming New Forest ponies, cattle and donkeys; keep dogs under control near livestock. After heavy rain, sections may become boggy. No steep gradients.

This is free open access land with no entry charge. Wear sturdy walking shoes or boots, especially after wet weather. Keep dogs on a lead or under close control near grazing animals and between March and July when ground-nesting birds are breeding.
