What to expect
Mostly gravel and dirt forest tracks with some firmer sections. A few gentle climbs and descents, nothing steep. Ground can be soft or boggy after rain, particularly on open heathland. Livestock (ponies, cattle, donkeys) roam freely—expect to encounter them. The route is clearly marked, and waymarking is easy to follow.
