What to expect
Level or gently undulating forest floor, likely a mix of leaf litter, gravel and roots underfoot. The path should be well-trodden and easy to follow. Expect typical New Forest woodland character with trees overhead. Minimal waymarking needed on such a short route. Watch for ponies, cattle or donkeys that may be grazing nearby.
