Highlights
- Quick 5-minute walk on easy terrain
- Fully paved asphalt surface throughout
- Open access — no gates or restrictions
- Dogs welcome on the route
What to expect
Flat, well-maintained asphalt underfoot with minimal gradient. The path is clearly defined and easy to follow, requiring no navigation skills. You may encounter free-roaming ponies, cattle or donkeys on nearby open ground, so keep dogs under control and stay alert.
Good to know
- Dogs welcome (keep under control near livestock & wildlife)
- Firm/surfaced — more accessible going
No fees or permits needed. Ordinary shoes are fine on asphalt. Dogs must be kept away from grazing animals and away from ground-nesting bird areas (critical March to July). The short distance makes this ideal for young children or those with limited mobility.
