What to expect
A flat, straightforward gravel forest track underfoot. No significant gradient. Minimal elevation change and easy footing make this suitable for all abilities. Light waymarking typical of New Forest tracks. You may encounter free-roaming New Forest ponies, cattle or donkeys grazing nearby.

Dogs are allowed as this is open access land. Wear sturdy footwear suitable for forest tracks. After rain, the gravel may hold mud, so waterproof boots are sensible. There is no charge to access. This brief route works best as a link between longer walks rather than a standalone outing.
