What to expect
Level or near-level grassland underfoot with no significant gradient. The track is straightforward to follow with minimal waymarking needed over such a short distance. You may encounter free-roaming ponies, cattle or donkeys grazing nearby—keep dogs under control and give livestock space to move away.

After rain, grass surfaces can be muddy or soft; waterproof boots are wise. Dogs must be kept under firm control near livestock and away from ground-nesting birds (March–July). Open access means no gates, charges or closing times. Best suited to casual footwear in dry conditions; sturdy shoes recommended if wet.
