What to expect
A straightforward walking track on firm ground, mostly flat or very gently undulating. You may encounter ponies, cattle or donkeys grazing freely on the open access land. The path is typically well-trodden. After heavy rain, muddy patches are possible on droveways. No formal waymarking, but the route is clear and short enough to navigate easily.

Dogs are welcome on this open-access route but should be under control near grazing livestock and away from ground-nesting birds (March–July). The track is free to use. Wear sturdy, waterproof footwear in wet conditions. This short walk works well linked with other nearby paths for a longer outing.
