What to expect
Flat, easy terrain underfoot on asphalt, with no gradient to speak of. The path is straightforward and easy to follow. You'll likely encounter free-roaming ponies, cattle or donkeys on the surrounding open access land, so keep dogs under control and give livestock space.
Good to know
- Dogs welcome (keep under control near livestock & wildlife)
- Firm/surfaced — more accessible going
This is a very short stroll rather than a full walk — good for young children or as a quick break. Dogs must be kept away from grazing livestock and away from ground-nesting birds March to July. No facilities or charges; wear comfortable shoes.
