Trimm's Drove
About this footpath
Trimm's Drove is a short, easy footpath near Fordingbridge offering a quick walk across open New Forest terrain. The 280 metre route takes around five minutes and requires no special fitness. It's an ideal leg-stretch or introduction to the Forest, whether you're passing through or based nearby.

What to expect
An uncomplicated footpath on unpaved ground, likely gravel and earth underfoot. The route is flat with no significant gradient. You may encounter grazing ponies, cattle or donkeys on the open access land. Waymarking should be clear, but it's a short route so navigation is straightforward. After heavy rain, muddy patches are common on Forest tracks.

- Dogs welcome (keep under control near livestock & wildlife)
Dogs are permitted but keep them under control near grazing livestock. Wear appropriate footwear for uneven ground. There's no charge for access. Avoid the route during ground-nesting bird season (March to July) if you're bringing dogs, or keep them very close.
