Valley Road is a short, easy track near Sopley suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. At just 140 metres, it's ideal for a quick stroll or as part of a longer New Forest outing. The track is open to all users and requires no permit.

A straightforward track with easy going underfoot. No significant gradient. The route is open access and likely to be well-trodden. Expect shared use with cyclists and horse riders, particularly at weekends. After heavy rain, muddy patches are possible on forest tracks. Waymarking should be clear given the short, direct nature.

Keep dogs under control near any grazing livestock (ponies, cattle, donkeys). Avoid ground-nesting birds March to July. Wear sturdy footwear or appropriate cycle tyres as surfaces can be muddy after rain. No facilities on this very short route; plan accordingly.
